A Man Killed by an Escaped Zoo Tiger, in Tbilisi, Georgia: Severe flood allowed hundreds of wild zoo animals to escape in Tbilisi, Georgia, causing people to stay indoors. Since the escape of the animals, one man’s life has been lost, who was killed by a white tiger at a warehouse in the city center. The tiger was missing since the floods destroyed the premises of zoo on the weekend.
The man who lost his life due to the tiger attack was a worker of a company based in the warehouse, shared by the Ministry of Internal affairs. He was attacked in the throat and died even bore reaching the hospital.
The ministry also added that the experts are still searching the warehouse as according to the news, a second man has also been injured by the tiger. Another tiger is also reportedly missing, dead or alive, according to the zoo administration.
Following death of that person, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has apologized to the public, saying that he has been misinformed by the zoo’s management, which previously stated that no wild animals were roaming the city.
