Springfield Super couple To Split in the Upcoming Simpsons Season: We know how difficult it is to make a marriage work in real life, however, it also seems like that things are not working out in Springfield. The Simpsons’ executive producer shared with the fans that the main characters Homer and Marge would separate legally in the upcoming season.
The cartoon series is currently in its 26th season, ready for the 27th season and the show continues to intrigue its fans. Al Jean executive producer also told Variety that it’s one of the upcoming season’s plot points to split the Springfield’s super couple along with the entrance of another surprising woman.
The Season premiere starts with Homer discovering about narcolepsy, which puts a lot of strain on his marriage. Homer and Marge separate legally, with Homer falling in love with his pharmacist, Jean further added. There would also be guest appearances of other characters along with a flashback episode, inspired from the movie “boyhood.”
The show is almost touching the mammoth landmark of 625 episodes, which the entire production team of the Simpsons is really happy about.
