Made In India Honda Navi Deliveries Begin In The US

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has revealed that it has shipped over 5,000 CKD Navi moto-scooter kits since July 2021. According to the company, the Navi was exported from India to Honda’s Mexico plant and is currently on its way to the United States, where deliveries will begin. The Honda Navi was launched in the United States earlier this year, and the made-in-India model is one of the smallest models in the lineup. The new Honda Navi is priced at $1807 (about 1.34 lakh) in the United States.

Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, HMSI said, “I’m happy to share that Honda Mexico has announced the start of Honda Navi exports to the US market. Offering a unique appeal with the dynamic style of both scooter and motorcycle, Navi brings a world of limitless possibilities for its riders around the globe. With the start of CKD kits to Honda Mexico, HMSI had reaffirmed its commitment to become one of Honda’s manufacturing hubs for the world. The Navi deliveries to US market via Honda Mexico has further strengthened our export portfolio in advanced markets, the new expansion has given us an opportunity yet again to set new standards of global manufacturing quality in India.”

The 2022 Honda Navi for the United States is the same as the Indian version. The model is powered by a 110 cc single-cylinder carburetted engine and comes with a CVT gearbox. The Navi is one of the brand’s most affordable models in the country, and it is targeted towards clients who want to learn to ride. Its low seat height, lightweight design, and convenient storage bin make it an ideal choice for city dwellers. The Honda Navi is already well-liked in Latin American markets.
